A New Year brings shades of blue on Sunday, January 29th as Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon and the Lone Star Wind Orchestra present Rhapsodies in Blue at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. The LSWO presents three masterpieces from the far past, not too long ago, and a brand-new innovative work which has already cemented itself as a groundbreaking composition. The Lone Star Wind Orchestra presents the multimedia experience that is Julie Giroux’s Symphony No. 6 The Blue Marble. The concert welcomes home DFW’s very own award-winning pianist Aaron Kurz to perform George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and in addition features Frank Ticheli’s Blue Shades.
