Family Theatre Series
The
Family Theatre Series has been an important part of
Eisemann Center Presents since the 2008-09 Season. We have created an exciting six-show season presented on Sunday afternoons, targeted to children and their families. The shows are staged by professional touring children's theatre companies who create a magical live experience for all who attend. Through this Series, we bring some of the great children's classics alive for children and families alike to enjoy. Each production takes place in the beautiful Hill Performance Hall, which allows us to open our doors to thousands of families each season, and provides children with a positive and memorable experience in the performing arts. It is our intention that the Family Theatre Series gives children an early start in loving the arts, and will in turn provide families with a memorable, low-cost bonding experience. Many of the shows presented address topics which children in our community deal with, such as social pressures, mischief or feeling like they do not quite fit in. Through the Family Theatre Series, children can see the characters on stage dealing with these hard topics, and in turn, become better equipped to face them on their own. Come as you are and enjoy an interactive and educational family experience with a live theatre performance at the Eisemann Center. are all based on both classic and popular children's literature.
