CHARLES W. EISEMANN CENTER
EXHIBIT OF THOMAS KINKADE CANVAS LITHOGRAPH REPRODUCTIONS
ON DISPLAY AT EISEMANN CENTER
RICHARDSON, TEXAS, Dec. 9, 2002 – The spectacular artwork of the
renowned artist Thomas Kinkade, the “Painter of Light,” is on display
for the month of December in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine
Gallery, located in the lobby of the Charles W. Eisemann Center for
Performing Arts and Corporate Presentations in Richardson Texas.
The exhibit featuring 17 of Kinkade’s most famous works is provided and
sponsored by Weir’s Furniture Village Galleries.
Free and open to the public, Kinkade’s paintings take you back to a
simpler time when family and home and holiday were celebrated year
round. Kinkade’s work illustrates with paint warm glows of happy,
gentler lifestyles…a splendid isolation of complete and satisfying
settings.
Many of his famous pieces such as “Mountain Chapel” and “Garden of
Prayer” are on display and available for viewing. His newest piece “A
Peaceful Retreat” is a cabin scene that provides everything a man needs
to sustain a rewarding life. Pristine waters, a cozy Adirondack rocker,
cool mountain breezes and animals of companionship and of environment---
all invite tranquil restoration of the soul.
The Eisemann Center is located in the Galatyn Park Urban Center of
Richardson on the East Side of Central Expressway between Campbell and
Renner Roads. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday l0:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.,
