“COLORS OF VIII” ART EXHIBIT IN THE EISEMANN CENTER’S
GREEN MEZZANINE-GALLERY DEC. 2, 2006 – JAN. 1, 2007

RICHARDSON, TX – Gallery VIII is comprised of eight women artists working in various art media. Oils, watercolors, acrylics, collage, printmaking and mixed media will be included in the exhibition, Colors of VIII. The eight artists are Martha Rea Baker, Nel Dorn Byrd, Carmen Haggard, Priscilla Krecji, Maryanne Reeves, Marie Renfro, Deborah Shannon and Nancy Ware.

For 21 years, Gallery VIII was a vibrant art gallery in Plano, Texas that has evolved into an online gallery at www.gallery8.com. The artists each maintain studios and continue to exhibit their art in regional and national exhibitions. Some are teachers and all are involved in local art associations including the Southwestern Watercolor Society. They have just recently completed their 3rd annual studio tour.

Gallery hours are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and during all public events. The Charles W. Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, Texas 75082 in the Galatyn Park Urban Center.
