COTTONWOOD ART FESTIVAL PREVIEW EXHIBIT

RICHARDSON, TX – Works from seven artists will be on display in the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery from September 3 until October 2 as a preview of Richardson’s Cottonwood Art Festival, now in its 34th year. Featured artists in the preview exhibit include: Ronna Katz, Cincinnati, Ohio; Christine Peloquin, Mount Dora, Florida; Marty Ruiz, Dallas, Texas; Cathy Suffel, El Campo, Texas; Jay Long, Austin, Texas; Coco Easterwood, Houston, Texas; and Gabor Koranyi, Santa Monica, California. Cottonwood Art Festival artists are featured twice yearly at the Eisemann Center in April and September, just prior to the popular festival.

This fall’s Cottonwood Art Festival takes place October 4th and 5th at Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas. The park is located one block east of Coit Road on Belt Line Road. Festival hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Over 200 artists and craftsmen from all over the country will set up a “gallery in the park” for all to enjoy in addition to children’s activities, live entertainment and food.

Gallery hours are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and during all public events. The Charles W.
